Safe Baking?
As mentioned in Dor's blog, yup we sticked to safe baking after our first attempt at cooking dinner for my family, which welllll, ended up tasting quite ok, despite all the worries about the blandness of our main course soup =P
Flipping through a cookies/muffins/cake book that she had purchased recently, Dor pre-selected 3 types of muffins that we could try.... Blueberry, Choco muff & White Choco. Well, she had already known which of the 3 i would have chosen, but hey, what matters is the task of doing it together =)
// Caster sugar | vanilla essence | self-raising flour | unsalted butter | buttermilk //
What are these man... i even had problems finding them when we were in cold storage, lol. But luckily she knew where to find them =) My 18 years of experience in IT apparently didn't help either =P
(I even thought i could drink the buttermilk on its own, but haha when i poured it out, it looked like some milk mixed with corn, and the smell wasn't all too sweet-smelling =P)
Once we were done with the mixing and preparation, the actual baking was left for Mr.Oven =) Meanwhile we just walked around, peeked into the oven glass from outside, and took many photos using the glass reflections =)
After about 20 mins of heat..... "yay!" It looked good =)
Tasted kinda sweet though (i'm a sweet tooth and i found it quite sweet, so imagine diabetic people =P) but there were good comments by Dor's relatives =) So "double yay!" =)
Wanna try? =)
