God ~

Have you ever stopped a while to think
how God has been working in your life
how He was involved in everything that you did
even into the nitty gritty stuff that people wouldn't care
even into the depths of our hearts
which people would never know?

And when you look back and see
"eh... sneaky sneaky..."
you realised that whatever good things
whatever bad things
that have happened to you
worked out for a reason.
These events have occured
and have been allowed by Him
to teach you about life and Himself

and to me,
the most important thing is to rejoice
rejoice
REJOICE
in these events.
no matter how cruel life may be
no matter how irritating people around you can get
no matter what mistakes that you've made
He is always there to guide you
protect you
give you peace
assure you

so will you take the stand to give Christ the chance
now
right now
yes now
not later
not tomorrow
not another day
to be in the centre of your life
to allow Him to work within the depths of your heart
to follow His unflawed, perfect plan
that He has laid out for you

you know it's real
you know it's true
so why aren't you?
it doesn't happen in a blink of an eye
it doesn't just *bam* change like that
nothing will hit you straight away
people around you won't change themselves for you
but slowly by slowly
you will notice the little change in you
and it will grow
grow

and without realising it
people will notice the difference in you
a heart after God
not the world
a heart that pleases Him
a beacon of light that shines out
extinguishing the darkness that lurks around
both in you and in others
this is being a Living Testimony of God

will you take the stand
will you accept Him
will you stand firm in His Word
will you believe that He is there to bring you up
not pull you down
and to be with Him
forever
in His 2nd coming

no one can force you
for the choice is yours
and it isn't too late yet
His light is still shining.
